No excuses: getting a reading routine

Hello everyone, happy pride month! Long time no talk. I've been very absent from here and in this short blog post I'm gonna explain why.

I hope to become more active on here, but I also won't pressure myself too much. I have enough stuff to do and this blogging should be relaxing.

So, about my absence. Last fall I went to a new university. Yay! It was on a higher level than I previously did, so I expected that I would have less time for reading.

But I didn't expect that I wouldn't be able to read at all! I have bo idea how other students can even go out to the club. I don't like to go out, but if I did, I wouldn't even have time to go.

I kept telling myself that I needed to read. Not because of my "reading goal", but because I was missing it. I made solutions for myself, but that was doomed to fail.

A few days ago I realised I might not be the only one who is struggling to fit reading in their daily life. That's why I'm writing this post.

By letting you know what my reading plan is, it might help you too!

Publishing this blog post also helps me to keep the promise, because you all witnessed me making these plans! :)

My main goal is to finish an eARC I've been reading. I always feel bad when I don't review Netgalley ARCs in time, but sometimes you don't expect to become this busy when you request it.

Then, I will also be finishing 'Take a Hint, Dani Brown' by Talia Hibbert, after nearly a year.

Every day I will read for at least one hour. Preferably from 9 to 10 pm, but that can change, as long as I read an hour. During the weekends I will read two hours per day.

That's it! This new reading routine will start today. I'm excited to get back to reading and hopefully I'll be able to stick to it!

Also, before I forget, I'm once again working on a summer TBR. An annual post on my blog, where I tell you which books I'm gonna be reading during summer break!

So, be sure to keep an eye out for that!

Q: Do you have an reading routine? Let me know under my latest Instagram post!

Or if you'd like, you can make a Wix account and comment under this blog post. Sadly Wix still hasn't enabled the option to comment without an account. The alternative comment section that I added kept moving through the post, so that wasn't a good idea either.
