*Screams* MARVEL DID IT AGAIN, DID THEY?!
Yes. Yes, they did.
Last weekend I went to the cinema to watch Spider-Man: Far From Home! After I saw it, I went on Instagram and asked my followers if they wanted to read a review.
And they did!
So, without any further ado, let's talk about the movie!
Bitch please, you've been to space!
Rating: ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ (5)
I'm writing this just hours after the credits stopped rolling. I'm still processing everything I've seen and I'm still shocked.
Why am I shocked? Go see Spider-Man: Far From Home in theaters and then come back here to find out in the spoiler section of this post.
Marvel made an amazing movie, once again.
But that isn't only thanks to Marvel. No. It's also thanks to the incredible acting of our friendly neighborhood Tom Holland.
I've seen all of the Spider-Man movies, but this reboot is the best out of all of them.
Maybe I can rank all of the Spider-Man movies from best to worst in a future blog post.
I'm not sure which one I like best. Homecoming and this one are both masterpieces and talking about them makes me so incredibly happy. I'm so glad that for once Marvel has found an amazing Spider-Man and Peter Parker!
Peter is going on a school trip to Europe and is looking forward to taking a break from h is superhero job. But danger doesn't take a break and Nick Fury recruits the teen for a mission.
Being a schoolkid and an international superhero is tough to balance and that's something Peter struggles with throughout the movie.
He has to safe the world, but at the same time not look suspicious to his classmates.
What I like about Holland's Peter Parker is that he is the most realistic one. Holland doesn't try to look quirky, because he already is! That was something that bothered me with Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. He tried too hard to look like a quirky teen, when it was obvious to me that he was a grown adult in real life.
Spider-Man is one of my favorite superheroes and I want him to be portrayed by one actor for many years, without reboot. En I think that Holland is the perfect man for the job!
Thank you, Tom!
Rest in peace Steve Ditko (1927-2018) & Stan Lee (1922-2018)!
Don’t invoke her name.

Okay, let's start!
The important thing is, you’re here. I tried to bring you here. You avoided me, and now, you’re here. What a coincidence.
SPOILER SECTION
Welcome to the spoiler section of my review. Get ready for me fangirling so bad!
Enjoy.
Let me get right into the biggest plot twist of the movie: Mysterio is a fraud.
I have to tell you that I wasn't shocked by the reveal, because I already knew. I'm a comic book freak, so I was actually waiting for it to be revealed. The gasps of the audience were priceless though and like fifteen minutes before the reveal, my friend whispered in my ear: 'I don't trust that guy'.
I just grinned at him.
The reveal was done very well! It gave me literal chills.
Talking about chills; the start of the movie also gave me chills. Peters' school news had made a tribute for all of the fallen avengers. Also included in that tribute was Steve Rogers aka Captain America, who didn't die in Avengers: Endgame.
So either SHIELD made everyone believe that he's dead so that the whole time travel thing wouldn't have to be explained or he really passed away after the moment when he sat on that bench.
What do you think?
MJ was my favorite person in the movie. Every word that came out of her mouth was hilarious. Zendaya Coleman is perfect for the role!
And two people who also got their shine in the movie were Ned Leeds and Betty Brant. They were so funny and cute together. I hope that they'll have some moments together in the next movie!
Okay guys, I've got to admit that I'm one of those people who gets really excited when their country gets mentioned in an international production. So you can probably imagine how stoked I was when a couple of Dutch actors were in the movie. I already knew that one of the actors would be in it, so it wasn't a surprise, but it was still fun.
The setting though. That was the most stereotypical thing ever. They had put everything that reminds foreigners of The Netherlands in one little scène. I also heard that the people from Broek op Langedijk said that it doesn't look like their village at all.
But you know, when I saw it, I had a good laugh and that's what matters. It was so ridiculous that I actually loved it!
Even though Quintin Beck is dead (or "dead"?), his story isn't over. There are still those people who helped him build Mysterio. I'm very curious to know what their next move is, because I'm sure that Beck had a back-up plan for if his plan went wrong.
Now the mid-credit scene. I'm still quietly laughing at the people who left the theater when the credits started rolling. Those poor people have missed one of the most important scenes ever!
In this scene it's revealed that Mysterio had a back-up plan. Before he was killed, he filmed himself telling that Spider-Man had attacked him for no reason. Then you heard Spider-Man tell EDITH to kill the droness, but they made it look like Spider-Man told EDITH to kill Mysterio.
A "scared" Mysterio then revealed Spider-Man's true identity.
This video was released by the Daily Bugle and shown on a billboard screen in New York City.
People will now fear Spider-Man, which will probably be the main theme in a future Spider-Man movie. I also think that J. Jonah Jameson will have a bigger role in that movie.
When I saw the news reporter, I immediately knew who it was and I started to cringe (a good cringe though). If you can't seem to remember who that man was, but do recognize him, then you have probably seen Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man.
In that movie JK Simmons also portrayed the role of J. Jonah Jameson, who despises Spidey a lot and wants to unmask the hero.
The movie ended with a end credit scene in which was revealed that the Nick Fury and Maria Hill in the movie were actually skrulls!
While Peter Parker was fighting bad guys, Nick Fury was enjoying a little vacation. It was another surprise element that I actually really enjoyed! That's why I love these credit scenes so much!
I also want to mention why I love it that Marvel puts scenes in between credits and after credits stopped rolling.
There are so many people working on these movies off camera and I know from experience that people who work behind the camera, don't always get the recognition.
By inserting these credit scenes, people will sit through the credits and watch the screen as the names roll by. That way people actually get the recognition they deserve. People now pay attention to the names, whether it's knowingly or unknowingly!
I hope that more companies start doing that!
You can still see Spider-Man: Far From Home in theaters near you!
You do NOT ghost Nick Fury!
